Yesterday Emma went to one of her little classmate’s birthday party. At the Lonehill Fire Station. And what a blast it was.

Throughout the morning I kept thinking to myself ‘doggone it! Why had I never thought of this?’ It’s a great idea for all ages and for boys and girls parties.

Because they were all littlies, the tour was kept short but they all got to slide down the pole AND ride in a fire engine.

The ‘venue’ has a huge play area outside, a room where you can set up chairs and tables (which are all supplied) as well as some farm animals you can feed.

The birthday boy’s mommy went all ‘hot’ on us with a fire engine cake, fiery decor, delicious food which included sushi and other Korean treats. Water guns kept the kids (and adults) entertained along with the jumping castle (also supplied by the venue).

So, guess where Ben’s 1st birthday celebration will be?

  1. Glad u enjoyed the party. They also do tours, they do not drive the fire engine but they will let the kids see the fire engine n sit inside, when i was there they even turn the siren on. All u have to do is call them to check if there is anyone (in case they r all out to do the real job). But even without the crews n fire engine, it is a great place for kids!
